An interesting looking fillies race where Statement is a very warm order at shorter than 2/1. She undeniably has the pick of the form running Alcohol Free close in the Fred Darling but besides that she hasn’t been the most consistent and she got turned over at 7/4 last time out in a similar quality of race.
The two I liked against her were Shine For You and AURIA with the latter just getting the marginal preference as a daughter to Muhaarar. She showed good form as a juvenile on soft and slow going at Newmarket and Kempton respectively and has improved on that form in two starts this year behind Creative Flair.
Auria stepped up to 1m 2f last time out and although she ran well she didn’t improve a great deal for it. Both of her starts this season have been on fast ground though and the drop back to 1m on slightly slower going might be ideal for her and she is worth a go against the fav.
