5f Norfolk Stakes (Group 2) (Class 1) (2yo)
Only 11 runners so this isn’t as trappy as a typical running, and I have this between the form pick Walbank and the runaway maiden winner BRAVE NATION, whose sire was a 16/1 winner for these pages a few years back (plug!). On visual impression he ticked all the boxes at Doncaster and looks to have a lot of speed. More importantly he’s a good price in a small field and for that reason he’s my pick ahead of the talented favourite.
