1m2f World Pool At The tote Handicap (Class 2) (3yo)

There are a few potential improvers in this 1m 2f three-year-old handicap. King Frankel has probably posted the best form on offer out of this crop but has taken a 6lbs rise as a result of his second in the London Gold Cup.

Patient Dream won on his reappearance over this track and looks as though he could have more to offer with the step up to 1m 2f from a mile. He will be popular with punters given his previous course experience, but CHASE THE DOLLAR could be the one they all have to fear as he has a very nice pedigree being by Frankel out of a Cape Cross mare and he looks the type to continue improving for Mark Johnston.

Chase The Dollar showed up well on all three of his juvenile starts and has some pretty strong collateral formlines with Derby entrants based on his maiden win at Ayr last year followed by a second-place to a decent horse in his final start in a Nursery at Chester.

On his seasonal reapperance and first attempt at 1m 2f, he was tapped for pace and possibly needed the run after a long layoff. His second start this year was much more like it and probably got beaten by a pretty decent sort on the all-weather when plugging on to the line and going down by a head.

The return to turf and a track like Epsom could suit Chase The Dollar as he looks like he’s crying out for a bigger test of stamina and a mark of 79 could still underestimate him at this early stage of his career.
