His maiden performance was breathtaking at Chelmsford in December romping home by five lengths. That form may not have amounted to much so far, but he ran a fine comeback race in defeat to Hampton Court third Berlin Tango and King Edward V II Stakes winner Pyledriver. Hypothetical tired late on for his season opener with Frankie looking after him in the final furlong. He still finished just the five lengths back and this may have been the target for him.
He looks well weighted off 97 on that evidence this son of Lope De Vega is likely to strip much fitter here and has big potential on just his third start.
