An excellent renewal complete with French, Irish and American raiders and the return of a star juvenile. Discoveries is the obvious one for this race given her full sister and half sister both won it despite showing arguably lesser form as a juvenile, but stall ten is going to make it difficult and she really disappointed me in the Guineas. I’ve no doubt at all that INSPIRAL is the best horse in this race even though she hasn’t been seen as a three-year-old yet, so I suspect if she runs to form she wins from a good draw in stall five. They’ve been very patient with her since a setback ruled her out of the Guineas and I’m hoping that pays off. Truthfully, she might need the run as connections suggest, but they’re just as likely trying to take the pressure off the situation and I have to back her at odds upwards of 3/1.
