No Galopin Des Champs (my ante-post bin is full) but a really good betting heat regardless. Bravemansgame‘s Cheltenham form can be questioned but he’s a very backable price at around 3/1 and I’d recommend a saver of sorts. Ahoy Senor really disappointed me at Kempton despite my high hopes, so with the looming threat of rain along with no Cheltenham form and concerns going this way round on the tighter old course, he requires a bigger price than the 7/1 available. I find L’HOMME PRESSE hard to knock as he’s looked really high class and has proven himself around Cheltenham and on softer going. Stamina for three miles is the big unknown but he finishes his races full of running and his jumping technique is efficient for staying trips. He has the tools to run past Bravemansgame and co. If you want one at big prices, Dusart, will be a player here for the in-form Henderson team if he can go the galop. I haven’t even mentioned the Irish but there are plenty with Grade 1 form lurking too.
