7f Sky Bet City Of York Stakes (Group 2) (Class 1) (3yo+)
This is a deep race and One Master will be very tough to beat outside Group One company. There isn’t much between the rest of them and recent York winner QUEEN JO JO might be overpriced at 18/1. She’s been finding 6f too quick, getting outpaced before staying on in her races, yet has some smart form this season. Her York win was a last to first job and she showed a lot of guts and class to get up and win. Whilst she’s tried 7f before without success, she’s a four-year-old now and looks to be improving, so might just need that extra furlong nowadays. She has all-important course form and the ground should be fine.
