DREAMFIELD looks a banker for Listed success at Newmarket on Saturday, provided he can hold form with the dangerous Limato, who has been a shadow of his former self this season.
Dreamfield has finished second in the Wokingham and sixth in a July Cup this season, beating some very good horses such as an in-form Sir Dancealot, King’s Stand winner Blue Point and all the best three-year-olds from the Commonwealth Cup.
That’s by miles the best recent form in the race and, off level weights, you’ve got to back him.
Gifted Master is the clear threat on the strength of both his Stewards’ Cup win and overall form at Newmarket, but Dreamfield does look a possible Group One horse, and he’s on an upwards curve.
