If he can jump, ELYSIAN FLAME could well be a class above this field based on his flat rating, where he would have a huge amount in hand versus the other flat converts in the race. The bar is set high by Botox Has, who can also claim nice course form, so Elysian Flame has to start his hurdling career by running to a mark in the 130s if he’s to win, but add the customary 35-40lb to his flat rating of 91 and he’s thereabouts. He’s also warm in the market, which is a good sign his homework is going well, so 11/1 is worth a go.
