The form book is fairly unreliable for York races, especially when all the top 2yo races so far have been at undulating Ascot and Newmarket. That form is represented by top of market and the value in this race might be from lower down. I like the chance of WOR FAAYTH at a big price. She’s stepping up in class from a facile listed success in France and connections clearly think enough of her to run her here. She’s on a hat-trick and her form doesn’t tie in with the others so it’s anyone’s guess how it stacks up. I like the way she has pulled clear on her last couple of starts and there are clues in her pedigree too. Her dam is a full sister to dual Nunthorpe winner Mecca’s Angel and her sire has produced a champion juvenile sprinter already in Perfect Power.
