I would take a swing at this with a couple of the more unexposed horses because this division has been fairly desperate for talent. AIR OF ENTITLEMENT has a good chance for last year’s winning connections. She won the Martin Pipe and the Mares’ Novice at the last two Cheltenham Festivals so clearly has a lot of class, and all she does is stay. This is her first run at three miles and with her mares’ allowance she is within 10lbs of the rest of the field, yet she is arguably the most unexposed in the race with the most upside as a 7yo. JINGKO BLUE won the other big Cheltenham Festival intermediate trip handicap hurdle and did it convincingly. The market is strong on his chance – just like it was in March – and he’s already proven he stays this trip well. It’s been a theme of the meeting so far that winners had come off big performances, and both of these selections ran career bests last time.
