6f Betfair Sprint Cup Stakes (Group 1) (British Champions Series (Class 1)
The Sprint Cup takes places on the usual bottomless ground over at Haydock. There are a few in here that should enjoy these testing conditions, but there is a slight question mark over the favourite Dream Of Dreams who bombed out in this last year.
Dream Of Dreams isn’t guaranteed to follow up a cracking peeformance last time out as he is not the most reliable. Art Power could also be better than what we saw on his first attempt at Group 1 company last time out but his price is too short now at 5/1.
So I’m going to stick with HELLO YOUMZAIN who can pick up back-to-back wins in this race.
He should be favourite in my view. Hello Youmzain has beaten Dream Of Dreams twice and has strong course in his favour. Hello Youmzain has already won the Diamond Jubilee this season and put in a very taking run in the Group 1 Prix Maurice De Gheest when just being done by the late turn of foot by Space Blues.
If he runs up to that level, he will be hard to beat and I’ll take the 7/2 on offer.
