JAVERT ALLEN has dominated from the front in his first two 2mile chase starts and he could be in-line for a hat-trick here at Chepstow. He has won over this course and distance and looks a young chaser who is massively on the upgrade.
I particularly like how positive he is ridden over the trip and his jumping is very quick and tidy. Still only a six-year-old Javert Allen has got plenty of potential and having won over this course before, he ticks a lot of boxes here.
Whilst odds of 15/8 are hardly juicy, it’s probably fair enough based on the fact he was only hit with a 5lbs rise for his last success and there aren’t many other solid alternatives in here. Indiana Dream clearly could have start potential, but he is hard to weigh-up given his absences and was left for dead on his seasonal reappearance when losing by almost 50 lengths.
