Redemption Day is an exciting prospect for Willie Mullins, but he hasn’t always been the most straightforward to train having hung around in bumpers for really three years though there is no denying his talent as shown by dotting up in the Grade 2 Punchestown Bumper at the end of last season.
That could be strong form with The Yellow Clay finishing in second and WILLIAM MUNNY coming home in third. William Munny didn’t get the best luck in running that day and the race was also run at a steady gallop which clearly won’t have suited either.
These Irish maidens can go off at a fast pace and he looks an exciting, straightforward recruit to hurdles for Barry Connell.
