It’s not a race Willie Mullins particularly targets and there’s a good chance his Stattler goes to Tramore on New Year’s Day. That would blow the race wide open and FURY ROAD could be a small fraction of the 16/1 he currently trades, at a meeting he won at over course and distance last season. He’s race fit after returning with a win at Down Royal, despite his yard often needing their first runs, and he’s a horse on the up after winning a Grade 1 last season before beating L’Homme Presse and Bravemansgame at Aintree.
