On Cheltenham’s Thursday card last year, Vautour, Thistlecrack and Limini all won by substantial margins to smash the bookies in one of the most obvious trebles in recent memory.
They say you shouldn’t tip a treble made up of short prices to try and enhance those odds towards something backable, however I say FECK AWF.
Much has been made of Willie Mullins’s lack of a winner this week, but it’s extremely hard for even the best yards to win at Cheltenham and in Yorkhill and Let’s Dance, Mullins has two of his best chances of the week.
Throw in the unbeaten-in-eight Unowhatimeanharry – who is certainly no bad price at 6/4 with Betfair – and you’ve got a rock-solid each-way treble where, barring falls, it’d be a major shock should any finish outside the top three in their respective assignments.
