A very competitive race and I’m backing two-time Newmarket Group One winner BILLESDON BROOK to land back-to-back renewals. Soft ground should be okay and she is brilliant at Newmarket. Her form this season has been solid and consistent and she was only just touched off by Nazeef in the Falmouth Stakes in July. She had good horses like Terebellum and Young Master behind that day and I’d say she has the best chance of the older horses, with the two three-year-olds at the top of the market the clear danger. 10/1 just seems the wrong price.
