This looks tough as so many are closely matched on form. The favourite Perfect Power is very strong but likes to come from off the pace and that’s not a run style that suits 6f on the Rowley Mile. The Phoenix Stakes form is rightly well respected in the market and I’m not sure either Dr Zempf or Go Bears Go are any value at around the 5-6/1 mark. I reckon the way to play this race is back a more unexposed form line and I can’t help but back the profile of HMS ENDEAVOUR at 16/1 for Adian O’Brien and Ryan Moore. He has to improve a lot but he’s out of a serial Group One winner Lady Eli, and his sire War Front has provided the winner of this before. His form got a timely boost last week in Ireland and 6f should be right up his street.
