The opening Prix Marcel Boussac on Chantilly’s Arc card looks good for a bet, with the market leaning heavily towards the chances from the bigger yards.
It’s clear to see that Aidan O’Brien’s Magical has a huge chance after she all but won a Group One on her previous start, and the favourite for France, Polydream, looks pretty good too.
Polydream’s form was franked at Doncaster by the second but I’m not sure that entitles her to be shorter in the market than O’Brien’s filly.
We’ve not got enough evidence to say either form line is the best in the race at this stage and I’m particularly interested in the unbeaten German raider NARELLA‘s chances, as she’s said to be Germany’s best two-year-old and totally unexposed against this lot.
At 12/1 she’s six times the price of the favourite’s and the right price to have a go at, particularly as there’s plenty in her pedigree pointing towards a liking of softer ground.
1pt win Narella @12/1, 13:10 Chantilly, Sunday
