Wide open as top of market looks very beatable. I’m backing SARACEN who is one of the least exposed runners having won easily in his maiden at Curragh last season, quickening off a slow galop to win by four. He’s an eye catching runner as Christophe Soumillon is over for the ride and I can’t think of many Irish runners in this race down the years – I’m not sure why that is but it’s probably because they have their own Guineas trials. It’s slightly unusual and I’m reading it as a good sign for this son of Siyouni.
