Only six runners and I think that might suit SPEAK OF THE DEVIL‘s hold-up tactics, as she shouldn’t meet traffic problems. She was last off the bridle in the French Oaks and clearly didn’t stay, but she looked the best horse in the French Guineas and would have won with another stride. Now back over a mile, her turn of foot should be seen to best effect and at 8/1 she looks a very live chance. Whether she’s good enough we don’t know, but this doesn’t look the deepest race.
