It’s a tough old race this one and there wasn’t much between them at the Dublin Racing Festival when Kargese probably just had the pace advantage on the rest of the field. Majborough has been talked up massively by Willie Mullins and it would be no surprise to see him step up massively from his first start for the yard after being off the track for 307 days. He may just be one for novice races next year alongside Salvator Mundi and I think it’s telling that despite getting beaten at Leopardstown that Paul Townend sides with STORM HEART.

Storm Heart absolutely hosed up on debut in heavy ground in Punchestown beating Eagles Reign who finished second in the Boodles on Tuesday. Storm Heart ran another cracking race at Leopardstown when not really getting the run of it, travelling on the outside. He was probably just done for pace by Kargese on that occasion, but was staying on back at her at the finish and I think this more testing trip on similarish ground to his maiden success will bring out the best in him so he is given a tentative ahead of the rest of the Mullins contingent.
