I don’t really see why DANCING CITY isn’t a great bet at 8/1 given he’s rapidly progressive – winning a Grade 1 at the Dublin Racing Festival on his third start over hurdles – and boasts hugely eye-catching bumper form as he split the subsequent Gallagher and Supreme Novices’ Hurdle winners Ballyburn and Slade Steel at Punchestown. Between the three of them they’ve won five Grade 1s as novice hurdlers and a sixth is very much on the cards. He’s got loads of experience and the soft ground will be no issue.
