The Strikin Viking is short on account of his Curragh run where he pulled nicely clear of the third, Arizona Blaze, who was a place behind TROPICAL STORM over 5f at Ascot. That suggests he has a collateral form edge on Tropical Storm but the fourth from Ascot has won really well at the July meeting at Newmarket and that form is looking really solid. At the prices it has to be Oisin Murphy’s mount at 5/1 as he’s completely unexposed at this 6f trip and looks like he’ll improve for it.
