2m3f Virgin Bet Handicap Hurdle (Class 2)
A competitive handicap over at Haydock can go the way of the talented UP FOR PAROL. A nice winner of some decent novice hurdles last season, Up For Parol finished a decent third in a Grade 2 hurdle at Chepstow to Comprond (who ran well in the Greatwood Hurdle).
Up For Parol didn’t have the best of luck over fences on his last try and I think the retrun to timber in a slightly weaker race could spark more improvement for the in-form Gavin Sheahan and Jamie Snowden combination. He has a fitness edge on the classy Stellar Magic and I’m not sure that Mackleduff will be as comfortable on this softer going having raced mainly on good ground. So Up For Parol ticks the most boxes here.
