Venetia Williams looks to have an exciting staying chaser on her hands in the shape of VICTORRINO. He put in a cracking performance over course and distance to win here in the Howden Silver Cup before Christmas and then wasn’t suited by the drop back to 2.5 miles at Cheltenham in January.
The step back up to three miles here will suit and he remains very unexposed against a group of pretty uninspiring competition where the best on offer is most likely Shan Blue who raced at a high-level in his pump and possibly Torn And Frayed who could outrun his odds. Victorrino should be tough to beat here.
