With first choice Nemean Lion a non runner, SALSADA is the bet here. She’s very unexposed and still has headroom to improve based on her flat rating of 91. She’s got a 5lb claimer and must have a huge chance of a feather weight after clearly being targeted for this race. 10/1 is good value in a race full of exposed horses – many of which are hopelessly out of form. Rubaud boasts an attractive profile and warrants a lot of respect, but his bubble was burst emphatically in handicap company in the Betfair Hurdle and is up 5lb since then.
