I’m pretty sweet on JACKIE OH here. She has a similar profile to 2017 winner Hydrangea in that she’s a Galileo who’s never tried 12f before and comes into this race off the back of placing second in the Opera. She’s stayed on well in all her races and handles any ground so there are no real negatives. The opposition is weak and lacking in Group One form, whilst chief rival Free Wind is mercurial and was virtually last in the Arc last time out – albeit her Yorkshire Oaks run was excellent. She’s not a horse to fear in any race. I prefer her stablemate Sweet Memories but the Gosdens rarely get their first string wrong in these types of races and Frankie has turned her down.
