This looks a match between Mighty Potter and APPRECIATE IT but the latter has to be the bet at three times the price. Mighty Potter ran a stinker at last year’s festival and, to my eye, hangs right and might marginally prefer going right handed. Maybe I’m trying to find holes that aren’t there but he does need to prove he likes the track, whilst his chief rival is a Supreme winner. Appreciate It was too slow for the Champion Hurdle last year and looked to be going far faster than he was comfortable in the Irish Arkle. Everything about his chasing form says he wants to go up in trip and we know he loves soft ground. Willie Mullins has been peaking his horses this week and plenty have improved chunks since their prep runs so I’m very hopeful Appreciate It can do the business here. It’s hard to make a case for anything else.
