TEAHUPOO‘s defeat of Honeysuckle looks rock solid form and he’s getting his soft ground so there really aren’t many reasons to doubt him. I know he hasn’t truly proven he stays 3m in a championship race but nothing about the way he runs make me doubt him in that department and his first try at the trip was impressive. With Flooring Porter out of form and this looking a deeper renewal than last year, I think he’s very beatable and all the talk has been about how poor Blazing Khal’s preparation has been. I respect him greatly, while Home By The Lee has made his case on the track this season, but Teahupoo definitely has the classiest form and I like his 4/1 quotes. He was only a 5yo last season and his progression makes perfect sense. I suspect he’ll go off favourite.
