The dual-code BELTOR looks a good bet in the 14:55 handicap hurdle at Kempton on Tuesday – a track he seems to love.
An impressive winner of the prestigious Adonis Hurdle at Kempton as a four-year-old, he was a well-backed and impressive winner on the all-weather recently when giving weight and a beating to the classy Wolf Of Windlesham.
Whilst his Adonis success may have given him a noncompetitive mark of 145, he is down to 133 these days after a pretty torrid twelve months.
However, that recent win shows he’s in good nick.
As a general 8/1 shot he looks well worth chancing – and any market support like last time would bode very well.
Connections must have seen him turn a corner at home for such a big gamble to be orchestrated on the all-weather, so there’s every chance his hurdling woes are a thing of the past and he could be very well handicapped to strike again, this time over timber.
