Aiden O’Brien’s stable form is a little iffy at present and it’s worth taking on his shorties until his strike rate picks up to his usual standards. At the prices I can’t justify how Godolphin’s Hidden Law can be a 7/4 shot whilst the well-bred Frankel colt CADOGAN PLACE, who beat him on his racecourse debut, can be trading 8/1 after doubling in price overnight. Something might be amiss with him but these market moves can be highly deceiving on the flat and I’m willing to take a chance on him on the strength of his bare form. He’s also proven round bends and the fact this is his first run on grass is no negative given his pedigree.
