1m  (Row) Qipco 1000 Guineas Stakes (Group 1) (Fillies) (British Champions Series)  (Class 1) (3yo)

After Godolphin and William Buick landed the colts equivalent yesterday, DANCE SEQUENCE has contracted in price despite meeting defeat on her trial. For me, the fact that Buick has chosen her above an unbeaten filly in Cinderella’s Dream and the strong vibes from trainer Charlie Appleby are massive positives – and she hardly ran badly in her trial. She’s a big unit who is proven on the Rowley Mile and will relish this extra furlong, and like the 2,000 Guineas winner is by supersire Dubawi. She’s got to have a big chance in a wide open division. I’m a fan of Regal Juibilee and reckon she could have a big say in the Oaks and might find this test a little speedy, but I can’t honestly say she will hold form with ELMALKA over the mile, as she didn’t get a clear run when behind at Newbury and looked to have loads in the tank at the end. By Kingman out of the same mare as star miler Benbatl, she’s got a proper miler’s pedigree and I suspect she will travel really strongly into this race and relish a strong galop. She’s a huge price and has an excellent chance of finishing in the places.
