1m Qatar Sussex Stakes (Group 1) (British Champions Series) (Class 1) (3yo+)
This looks like an ideal betting market with an odds-on favourite whose only defeats this season have come on soft ground – and the going is heavy. I can’t split the two three-year-old fillies in this race, SNOW LANTERN and ALCOHOL FREE as they’ve finished 1-2 in their last two races – both fillies’ Group Ones – and are proven on soft ground. They’re around the same price and I’m going to save myself a headache by backing both.
