7f Qatar Prix de la Foret Presente par Education Above All (Group 1) (3yo+) (New Course) (Turf) (3yo+)
The old boy Kinross runs for the fourth time in the Foret and he was back to form last time out with a successful appearance. Ramatuelle could be set to run at her optimal trip for the first time in her career but it remains to be seen how she will fair after a 107 day break. Flora Of Bermuda was another I took significant interest in, however a draw in 18 is going to be tough to overcome.
The one that sticks out to me as being underestimated by the market is TRIBALIST for Andre Fabre. Tribalist is a Group 1 winner having won the Prix Moulin last time out. He has clocked the best rating in the field this season so I do think he could be the one to beat.
Tribalist does need to front-run to be seen at his best and a draw in stall 12 might not be a great help in that regard, but there isn’t a lot of other pacemakers in this field so he might be able to get that early lead if ridden aggressively from the gate. If he does then he will stay this soft ground 7f trip well and I could see them struggling to peg him back should he get an easy lead at the front.
1pt win Tribalist 9/1, 16:40 Longchamp, Sunday
