7f Moyglare Stud Stakes (Group 1) (Fillies) (2yo)
I’m happy to take on the twice raced Ylang Ylang even though there’s nothing about her chance I don’t like. I think it’s more open than the market suggests and I fancy Debuntante Stakes winner VESPERTILIO to reverse the form from earlier this summer. This filly is everything I want in a flat horse as she travels like a dream and quickens past horses with ease. Hold up tactics are fraught with risk but I think she’s of equal ability to the favourite and she shouldn’t have any traffic issues at Curragh if she swoops round the outside like her last two starts. 5/1 is a very backable price for a horse with that profile.
