It’s been a fantastic month for us with plenty of winners and two more added on Saturday’s Leopardstown card, with Alice Springs (6/1) and Almanzor (15/2) landing the Group Ones.
The Almanzor form looks rock-solid now so we’ve got to back ZARAK in Sunday’s Prix Moulin at Chantilly, a trial for the Foret on Arc day in a couple of weeks.
Zarak has placed second twice behind Almazor on his two previous starts, beaten less than two lengths both times.
With no Almanzor around he looks good value at 5/1 to get his head in front, despite strong opposition.
Vadamos was an excellent second to Ribchester in the Prix Jacques le Marois and that rates as high-class form, whilst the favourite for this, Zelzal, also has obvious leading claims after winning the Group One Prix Jean Prat.
Both will put up a real fight and have every chance, but Zarak looks the best value at that price.
