I had a look at this race before it was priced up and came up with BRIDGE NORTH as the most interesting runner, so it’s a little disappointing to see him 4/1 fav. He looks a proper stayer so won’t have been suited by the slow gallop last time out and that shouldn’t be an issue this time, where the hurdle track at Sandown is soft and always a real slow motion slog. Conditions should suit this son of Sholokhov nicely and his trainer is in good form too.
