A good betting race with plenty having chances. Jet Powered made my shortlist because he’s always had a big reputation and ran too bad to be true on his second hurdles run. Off a mark of 131 you’d have to say he could easily have a stone in hand if any of his novice season hype was true. However he’s been well found in the market and has an awful lot to prove. I’m taking him on with IRISH HILL who won a handicap at Ascot quite impressively back in February off a 1lb lower mark. He’s been beaten in his last three starts but his reappearance at Kempton was very much a pipe opener after a summer wind op, where Paul Nicholls said he was behind on fitness. As a 5yo he should have more scope to improve and it’s a big positive that he’s warm in the market for today. All the signs are the yard think he’s a good chance.
