7f Moyglare Stud Stakes (Group 1) (Fillies) (2yo)
Meditate looks very straightforward and she proved she stayed 7f perfectly well on faster ground last time out, but she looks like a speedy horse and slower going might find her out over this trip. I like the chances of both Tahiyra, a runaway winner at Galway and a half-sister to the brilliant Tarnawa, and THORNBROOK who was just behind Meditate in the Debutante Stakes. Tahiyra was an attractive price earlier in the week but she’s too short now off the back of one maiden start, and Thornbrook has more solid form in the book (for now!). She looks like she wants a mile so the softer going will play into her stamina and another step forward here would give her a big shout, on just her third career start.
