The favourite has a lofty rating because he bolted up at Royal Ascot, but the form of that race is not working out and he’s up against horses hardened by Group One races here. This looks an excellent opportunity for EL DRAMA to get back to winning ways, as the only three-year-old in the field and getting weight all round. He’s been semi competitive in Group One assignments over 10f, not disgraced behind some of the best horses in Europe, so this drop in grade can suit. The form of his second to rising star Baaeed is working out well with the other placed horses running well in Stakes races since, and I think 15/2 is pretty good value.
