POTAPOVA was our selection in the Group One Coronation Stakes but didn’t run her race. It was heavy ground that day and she was up against some of Europe’s best milers so it’s not hard to forgive the run and blame the ground. She’s not been seen since but arrives here on good ground as an 11/1 shot and that looks ripe for a bet. The opposition doesn’t look the strongest as Indigo Girl was a long way behind her 2yo form on reappearance and I don’t think Auria beat much when we tipped her to win a Listed race at Sandown.
