In the Scottish Champion Hurdle I’ve got a lot of time for the smart novice Mister Fisher, but at 11/2 I can’t say he’s much of a price and, in contrast, the 9/1 about REDICEAN is too good to ignore.
As a juvenile he looked electric when running away with the Adonis on good ground at Kempton, and while he’s not scaled those heights since, he’s had excuses and conditions at Ayr are perfect.

BIG TIME DANCER disappointed in the County Hurdle at Cheltenham, but that was on bad ground which he hated, and now returned to a sound surface at Ayr he could bounce back to the progressive form that culminated in a cosy Lanzarote Hurdle success.
He went up 8lb for that but I don’t think the County told us anything about whether that mark is beyond him, so with ideal conditions and a 10/1 quote, he looks a good bet.
